EnergySolution A/S was founded in June 2012. Despite our young age, we feel we’ve reached certain milestones that are worth sharing with our clients and business partners.

• 2012: EnergySolution ApS is founded

  1 June 2012: Martin Raaby Skou founds EnergySolution ApS and 5 months later, the first employee, besides Martin himself, is hired.

• 2014: ISO 9001 certification

  22 December 2014: EnergySolution now has eight employees and becomes ISO 9001 certified.

• 2015: The private limited company (ApS) becomes a public limited company (A/S)

  27 December 2015: EnergySolution changes corporate form from ApS to A/S and gets its first board of directors.

• 2017: Gazelle Award No. 1

  27 September 2017: EnergySolution receives its first Gazelle Award.

  The Gazelle Award is awarded annually by Danish financial broadsheet Børsen on the basis of different criteria. A Gazelle company grows continuously and at least doubles its turnover or gross profit over four financial years.

• 2017: Bisnode's triple A rating

  11 October 2017: EnergySolution achieves triple A rating.

  Triple A is the highest possible rating in Bisnode’s credit rating system (see Bisnode’s rating guide).
  We’ve reacquired this rating every year since 2017.

• 2018: New domicile in Tilst

  26 February 2018: EnergySolution now has 18 employees at EnergySolution, and space is short at the office in Anelystparken in Tilst. We therefore move to our current domicile at True Møllevej 1, DK-8381 Tilst.

• 2018: Elite supplier to the public sector

  20 June 2018: EnergySolution receives an elite supplier to the public sector diploma (1% largest suppliers) for its optimisation work on swimming pools, building stock, street lighting and major district heating systems that we helped the public sector with in 2017.

• 2018: Gazelle Award No. 2 + Digital Gazelle (Central Jutland)

  27 September 2018: EnergySolution receives its second Gazelle Award.

  The Gazelle Award is awarded annually by Danish financial broadsheet Børsen on the basis of different criteria. A Gazelle company grows continuously and at least doubles its turnover or gross profit over four financial years.

  EnergySolution is also named ‘digital gazelle Midtjylland’ in 2018.

• 2019: EnergySolution acquires MH Automation

  1 February 2019: EnergySolution acquires MH Automation.

• 2019: Gazelle Award No. 3

  24 September 2019: EnergySolution receives its third Gazelle Award (in a row).

• 2020: Gazelle Award No. 4 = Marathon Gazelle

  2 October 2020: EnergySolution receives its fourth Gazelle award (in a row), making it a Marathon Gazelle.

• 2020: ISO 9001 certification extended to all business areas

  8 December 2020: EnergySolution is recertified in ISO9001 by Bureau Veritas, and at the same time has all of the company’s business areas, including electrical safety, included in the certification.

  The scope is now: Implementation of automation solutions, electrical installations as well as energy, environmental and process optimisation and quality management of energy saving projects according to the energy companies’ energy saving obligations. 

• 2020: EnergySolution's business area is expanded to include advice on sustainability

  2020: As a natural part of our energy optimization projects, our business area is expanded to include specific sustainability consulting.

• 2022: 10 year anniversary

  June 1, 2022: EnergySolution and owner Martin Raaby Skou celebrate their 10th anniversary.

• 2022: Martin Raaby Skou passes the title as CEO on to Michael Reventlow-Mourier

  June 1, 2022: As the company has grown, management tasks have taken up most of the time of owner Martin Raaby Skou and in 2022 he therefore chooses to pass on the title as director to Michael Reventlow-Mourier.
  
  Going forward, Martin will concentrate on what he loves and is passionate about, as a Senior Chief Consultant; less time in the office and more time with customers and partners, where he will immerse himself in some of the slightly more complicated energy projects.

• 2022: EnergySolution establishes an independent sustainability advisory department

  2022: As sustainability services have become an extensive part of our business, Sustainability is established as an independent department.

• 2024: EnergySolution becomes part of NRGi

  2024: EnergySolution was founded with a strong ambition to contribute to the green transition and help companies to optimize their processes and energy consumption, while at the same time strengthening customers' competitiveness. In recent years, we have built consulting on ESG into our business, so that we deliver the synergies from both process and energy optimization and sustainability consulting. 
  
  And we will continue to do so! But now on an even more solid platform: Pr. 10.06.2024 EnergySolution has become part of NRGi Rådgivning.
  
  We will be part of a nationwide and cooperatively owned energy and consulting company, which is known for its strong and broad competences within a wide range of consulting services; Among other things, within energy, process, construction, sustainability and data. NRGi is Danish, and based on good, healthy values ​​with a focus on long-term customer relationships; exactly as we stand for ourselves. Therefore, we think it has been a perfect match for EnergySolution.
  
  EnergySolution's employees, managers and services become a fundamental part of NRGi Consulting. Therefore, all customers will retain the contact persons and advisors they have today; and who have in-depth knowledge of customers and companies. But not everything is as it usually is. Because as part of NRGi, we strengthen the breadth of our services – and not least weight and robustness. That's the benefit of being part of something bigger.
